Library Run

The two books I requested came in, and our first round of books were due. The kids really enjoyed the preschool story time – even if it did take a little while for Sarah and Tyler to join in. Then, each one got to pick out two books. This put us at 8 books to check out today!

I was putting the children’s books into my GoodReads.com account, but I think I’d rather have a separate account just for them. The following is a little review of one of our new books.

The Wheels on the School BusThe Wheels on the School Bus by Mary-Alice Moore

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book was a lot of fun to sing along to. For a homeschooled family, it did raise a few questions! lol The illustrations were awesome and interesting, and the kids are already asking me to read it again and again… or rather sing it!

Not only did we go to the library, but we also went to the park. Then, we had lunch together at Chick-fil-A and hung out a while playing some more. The boys and I went through some Kindergarten paces while Sarah napped. Then, all 3 kids got a haircut. Tyler wanted me to tell him all about all the parts of the hair-cutting kit WHILE I was concentrating on cutting Sarah’s hair! I told him that would have to wait. I’m thinking on Saturday we’ll go through a hair cutting tools lesson. Why not?! I love their inquisitive minds!
